Pip tells Victor and Leanne that she lost the family dog and can’t find him. They all search for two hours and find nothing. Pip fears maybe someone took the dog. Later, she gets a text from an unknown number asking her if she wants to see her dog again.
The fact that the blackmailer has come for Pip’s dog shows how the stakes have gotten higher and how Pip’s very direct way of asking questions seems to be upsetting someone in town.
