Pip writes Cara a note explaining everything Elliot did, but when she tries to call, neither Cara nor Naomi picks up. Ravi comes over with his parents and say they just heard from the police to say there will be a press conference about Elliot’s arrest and Sal’s innocence. Later, when Ravi and Pip are alone, he says things are over, but Pip can’t let go of the idea that Andie Bell might still be out there.
Pip could call the mystery over, since she’s achieved one of her goals of clearing Sal’s name. Still, she can’t let go of the feeling that some of the truth still remains hidden. Pip demonstrates that she cares about bringing the truth to light even when it’s difficult and even after she’s accomplished her personal goal of clearing Sal’s reputation.
