Miss Evelyn is a resident at the Green View Nursing Home where Annie worked. At a party the residents hold to celebrate Annie’s life, Miss Evelyn shares a perplexing story with Ali, saying that Annemarie once stayed at the nursing home. It later comes to light that Annie hid Annemarie there while she was detoxing. Miss Evelyn cared deeply about Annie and, as such, she serves as a reminder that Annie touched the lives of many people, not just her immediate family and friends.
