The Two Migrant Men Character Analysis

The two migrant men are part of the group of migrants that hires El Chacal to take them across the desert, which includes Lydia and Luca. They stay in the apartment in Nogales with Lydia, Luca, Soledad, and Rebeca while they wait to cross, but they do not share anything about themselves, including their names. The two silent men wear long-sleeved shirts and jeans and keep their baseball caps low to cover their faces. Lydia is disturbed by their presence: she wants to know all about them but cannot learn anything because their clothing covers any potential signs of tattoos. The two silent men keep to themselves in the apartment, talking quietly to one another and playing cards. They maintain this distance from the other migrants throughout the entirety of their trek across the border.
