In Act Three, Doctor Baugh alludes to the Keeley cure for alcoholism:
DOCTOR BAUGH: In my day they had what they call the Keeley cure for heavy drinkers.
BIG MAMA: Shoot!
DOCTOR BAUGH: But now I understand they just take some kind of tablets.
GOOPER: They call them "Annie Bust" tablets.
