Cordelia’s Mother Character Analysis

Cordelia’s mother is the wife of a wealthy man. She arranges her own flowers and has a cleaning lady. She does seem to like Elaine, in contrast to Mrs. Smeath, but she partially uses her to make Cordelia feel bad in comparison. Her children call her Mummie and keep conspiracies from her, but they do not like to disappoint her.
