Analysis
Dell gets to the high school front desk and asks for Mai to be sent to him. She looks reluctant to see him, but he tells her that Willow is missing. Mai tells Dell she’ll help, but he has to sign her out of school.
After initially focusing on self-preservation and trying not to get involved, Dell now seems ready to take responsibility for helping Willow. This demonstrates his growth as a character.
