Counting by 7s: Chapter 36 Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
Lenore comes to visit at Dell’s apartment, where Pattie is pretending to live with Willow and Quang-ha. She doesn’t stay long, which makes Willow think they must have passed the test. When Lenore drives away, she passes Mai, who is walking and finally made it there.
After all of the work that Pattie and the others put into fixing up Dell’s apartment, the actual visit from Lenore ends up being a little anticlimactic, showing once again how one of the problems with bureaucracy is that it often focuses more on fulfilling a checklist (like Lenore’s test) than actual results.
