Explanation and Analysis:

There are two primary settings in Educated. The first is Buck's Peak, a small town in southeastern Idaho where the Westover family lives. Buck's Peak is in the so-called Mormon Corridor, an area covering all of Utah and portions of the surrounding states, in which Latter-Day Saint (Mormon) religion and culture are predominant.
