The narrative switches rapid-fire between Eleanor and Park’s points of view as they reunite on the school but on Monday. They are both giggly and love-struck like “cartoon character[s],” and continue noticing new things about one another’s faces and bodies. They discuss music and laugh joyfully all the way to school.
