Jesse gets arrested yet again for stealing a gold chain. In jail, he calls Harvest House and begs to be readmitted. The judge allows him to go to Harvest House in lieu of jail time, but he emphasizes that it is Jesse’s absolute last chance.
Jesse has been given yet another chance to turn his life around, and but based on the message conveyed in the poem that beings Part 4, it seems that he is at last poised to make it count.
