El Brujo, Vampi’s newfound boyfriend, was a metal musician who came to America with the dream of becoming famous. When he arrived, however, he discovered that nobody wanted to hire an undocumented Mexican musician who didn't speak English. Eventually, he got a job in a diner, which is where he's been working for six years. Vampi immediately falls in love with El Brujo when she notices he's wearing a tee shirt for her favorite band, the 69 Eyes.
