Life Class: Chapter 28  Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
Lewis writes to Elinor, informing her that Paul cut his hand while dressing an infected wound and has since fallen ill. Paul recovers, reassures Elinor of his health, and tells her that he ran into Neville. He also tells her about his painting, which he believes to be the best work he’s ever done.
Paul’s illness puts him through a small piece of the kind of suffering he is now committed to depicting in his art. When he recovers, he is more passionate than ever about his new work.
