Doctor Schafer
Clarence Cowie, also known as “the Deanxietized Man,” is a man whom Doctor Schafer has ostensibly cured of all anxiety. Doctor Schafer presents him on stage at the International Conference of Medical Psychiatry, but in the middle of the presentation, Clarence transforms into a giant black centipede. The attendees become fearful and contemplate killing the black centipede. The following, imaginary seen depicts his hypothetical murder trial, and Doctor Schafer is identified as the guilty party.
