Elliot is the young man Cameron meets at the Seattle airport when he first arrives in Washington. When Cameron discovers the airline has lost his luggage, Elliot—whose luggage has also been misplaced—shows him how to file a claim with the airport. He also connects Cameron with a friend who is selling a cheap, old camper van, which Cameron buys to make the drive to Sowell Bay.
