In the following example of satire from Chapter 59, Christopher ponders confusing instructions and the process of rule breaking:
[W]hen people tell you what to do it is usually confusing and does not make sense. [....] Also people break rules all the time. [....] In the Bible it says Thou shalt not kill but there were Crusades and two world wars and the Gulf War and there were Christians killing people in all of them.
