ETO Analysis in The Dark Forest

The ETO is the Earth-Trisolaris Organization, which is a group of pro-Trisolaran humans founded by Ye Wenjie and Mike Evans. The organization works together with the Trisolarans to try and assist the Trisolarans in their plan to invade Earth and conquer humanity. The ETO is initially divided into two factions, the Adventists and the Redemptionists. The Adventists want to assist the Trisolarans in wiping out all of humanity, while the Redemptionists hope that the Trisolarans will help redeem humanity. The ETO appoints “Wallbreakers” to each of the Wallfacers except for Luo Ji to help unravel the Wallfacers’ plans.
