Technological Triumphalism
The Three Body virtual world is the virtual space where members of the ETO meet to discuss their plans to counteract the human effort to defeat or neutralize the Trisolarans. Members of the ETO use usernames, or avatar names, when they are in that virtual world. The virtual world simulates conditions on the Trisolarans’ home planet, and it played a pivotal role in the first book of the series, The Three-Body Problem.
