Mood
Explanation and Analysis:
The mood of “The Minority Report” is primarily tense and suspenseful. Over the course of the story, the protagonist Anderton goes from being New York City’s Police Commissioner in good standing, to being framed as a potential murderer and going on the run from the police, to being manipulated by a series of different people (all saying they want to help him), to ultimately killing a man and being exiled to a colony on another planet.
