Anagnos Character Analysis

Anagnos is the director of the Perkins Institute for the Blind. In the play, Anagnos is Annie Sullivan’s teacher. He has known her since she was a child, and worked closely with her to teach her how to read and write. He’s also instrumental in raising the funds to pay for the operations she undergoes, which allow her to see clearly for the first time in her life.
