Dave Ruvola is an Air National Guard helicopter pilot. He pilots the H-60 helicopter which goes down after a botched refueling attempt during the storm. He courageously ditches the helicopter over the Atlantic and manages to survive until the Tamaroa arrives to rescue him and his crew, including Mioli, Spillane, and Buschor.
