Celegorm Character Analysis

Celegorm is the third son of Fëanor and a friend of Oromë and the hound Huan. Bound by his father’s oath to reclaim the Silmarils, he leads an attack against the orcs harassing Círdan. While living in Nargothrond with his brother Curufin, Celegorm meets Beren and later Lúthien, whom he kidnaps, hoping to marry her. Orodreth banishes him from Nargothrond, and Huan abandons him. He’s killed by Dior during the Second Kinslaying in Doriath.
