Elrond Character Analysis

Called “Half-Elven,” Elrond is the son of Eärendil and Elwing and chooses the fate of the elves. He fights alongside Gil-galad in the War of the Last Alliance and later founds Rivendell, which he protects with the power of the ring Vilya. He’s close friends with Gandalf and sits on the White Council.
