Tomorrow is Too Far Narrator Character Analysis

As a child, this unnamed narrator of the story "Tomorrow is Too Far fell in love with her cousin Dozie and was resentful of her older brother, Nonso. Because the narrator is female and Nonso is male, her family dotes on Nonso and treats the narrator as if she's disposable and doesn't exist. The narrator orchestrates a trick on Nonso to hurt him, but ends up killing him. Though she only wanted to be loved, she never gets that love.
