Hook-finger Jacob Character Analysis

One of Macheath’s most loyal thugs. Jacob frequents a brothel in Wapping and, like Macheath, is often distracted from his own self-interest (and from protecting his boss) by the compay of women. Still, Jacob is always there when Macheath is in trouble, ready to do whatever needs to be done to keep Macheath from the gallows just a while longer.
