Wanda Harrison Character Analysis

Wanda Harrison is the receptionist at the hotel where Odette and Sissy stay in the capital city. An Aboriginal woman, Wanda was taken from her family at a young age and sent to a residential school. When she became an adult, she found a job at the hotel. She has spent years trying to track down her own mother but has not been successful. A kind, sweet, lonely woman, Wanda befriends Sissy and helps her and Odette out when Odette’s health takes a turn for the worse.
