Officer Timothy E. Wind was one of four Los Angeles police officers involved in the Rodney King beating. In their federal trial, Wind and Officer Theodore J. Briseno were acquitted of their charges, while Sergeant Stacey C. Koon and Officer Lawrence M. Powell were found guilty of violating King’s civil rights.
