Analysis
During the drive to the Rays’ farm, Del and Sharon explain everything. Poe has been working undercover, Del’s arrest was staged, and they rescued Steven from the floor below the labs. Poe stops the van and comes to help everyone out. Lorenzo lifts Jean down, and as Jean falls against him, Patrick calls her name. Jean approaches Patrick, and she, Steven, and Patrick hug. After checking on Leo, Sam, and Sonia sleeping in the living room, Jean falls asleep next to Sonia while Poe shares how Jean will escape.
Jean and Patrick’s marriage may be on the rocks right now, but they both still care immensely about the family they’ve built together. And thanks to Patrick’s involvement with the resistance, they now have a bigger community to help their family get to safety.
