Later, she has a string of unsuccessful relationships, dating Gary and The-Man-Who-Came-Before-Gary. Jackie drowns at age 36 when she dives into a hotel pool in Spain and gets her hair caught in a drain when nobody else is around. She and Reggie had a warm and affectionate relationship.
