Wiress
Wiress is a former victor from District 3 who acts as one of District 12’s mentors alongside Mags. She won the previous year’s Hunger Games—set in a mirrored arena—by hiding and waiting patiently for her opponents to die off.
Clerk Carmine
Clerk Carmine is Lenore Dove’s uncle. He and Tam Amber raised her after her mother died. Like all the Covey, he is a talented musician. Clerk Carmine disapproves of Haymitch, believing he will bring trouble to Lenore Dove.
Asterid March
Asterid March is a 16-year-old girl whose family owns the apothecary in District 12. Though she comes from wealth, she is kind. Asterid eventually marries Burdock and gives birth to Katniss Everdeen, the girl who finally puts an end to the Hunger Games with Haymitch’s help.
Hattie Meeney
Hattie Meeney is a bootlegger in District 12 who employs Haymitch to help brew and sell her liquor to citizens and the Peacekeepers. She lets Haymitch leave work early on his birthday to spend time with Lenore Dove.
Merrilee Donner
Merrilee Donner is the twin sister of Maysilee Donner. Like her sister, Merrilee comes from wealth and works at her family’s sweet shop in District 12.
Drusilla Sickle
Drusilla Sickle is a Capitol emissary who conducts the reaping ceremony in District 12 every year. Like many Capitol citizens, Drusilla is known for her flamboyant fashion sense and incredible vanity. She frequently dehumanizes the district population when she isn’t on camera.
Panache Barker
Panache Barker is a hot-headed Career tribute from District 1. After the catastrophic parade, he holds a grudge against Haymitch and attacks him during training and in the arena. Maysilee kills him with a poison dart during the Games.
Prosperina
Prosperina is a university student in the Capitol assigned to Haymitch’s prep team, alongside Vitus. She is Effie Trinket’s younger sister. Though she means well, Prosperina is overly concerned with her grade and unintentionally dehumanizes the tributes.
Vitus
Vitus is a Capitol university student assigned to Haymitch’s prep team, alongside Prosperina.
Magno Stift
Magno Stift is the Capitol stylist in charge of dressing District 12’s tributes for their formal appearances and interviews. Magno is unreliable and has a passion for using live reptiles as fashion.
Caesar Flickerman
Caesar Flickerman is the flamboyant host of the Hunger Games Night of Interviews. He uses his charisma to entertain the Capitol audience and make each tribute memorable.
Wellie
Wellie is a young tribute from District 6. She is killed by Silka after Haymitch leaves her alone to search for firewood.
Maritte
Maritte is a Career tribute from District 4 who teams up with Silka. While chasing Haymitch and Maysilee, Maritte kills a Gamemaker who is repairing the arena. Afterward, she is swiftly killed by mutts, presumably as punishment.
Ringina
Ringina is a tribute from District 7. During a knife-throwing tutorial, she and Haymitch simultaneously realize they could overpower the Peackeepers but refrain from taking action.
Tibby
Tibby is a Capitol chef on the train which ferries District 12’s tributes to the Capitol. At Plutarch’s instruction, he bakes Haymitch a birthday cake.
Incitatus Loomy
Incitatus Loomy is the parade master during the 50th Hunger Games. After the catastrophic rampage that results in Louella McCoy’s death, Snow implies he poisoned Loomy to death as punishment for his failures.
