In the summer of 1974, Milton, Tessie, and Callie were supposed to go on a vacation back to their ancestral homeland of Bithynios. However, the Turkish invasion of Cyprus means that they are forced to cancel the trip. Milton ends up at odds with the other Greek-American he is friends with.
