Virginia Neville Character Analysis

Virginia Neville is Robert Neville’s dead wife. She succumbs to the vampire plague, and Neville buries her in a cemetery. To his horror, Virginia comes back from the dead and menaces him—he’s forced to kill her for a second time, and bury her once more. Although Neville’s love for Virginia is one of the crucial aspects of his character, we’re given almost no information about Virginia’s personality—she’s an important, but somewhat one-dimensional character.
