Chrissy Character Analysis

Chrissy is Lucy and William’s daughter and Becka’s sister. When the narrative begins, Chrissy has just had a new baby, and she is struggling with postpartum depression. After Chrissy recovers, Lucy still frequently worries about her daughter, feeling that she embarrasses Chrissy or that her daughters may no longer need her in the same way. Eventually, however, Lucy is gratified to learn that Chrissy’s distance stems not from anger but from the fact that Chrissy misses having Lucy closer by.
