Noble Pilcher

Starling’s Father

Dr. Danielson works for the Gender Identity Clinic at Johns Hopkins. He wants to help Crawford but fears that doing so will further stigmatize of his patients.
Barney
Barney looks after Lecter at the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane. He expresses concerns when Chilton takes Lecter to Tennessee.
Gumb’s Mother
Gumb’s mother is a former beauty pageant contestant. She puts Gumb into foster care because she does not feel she can raise him.
Major Bachman
Major Bachman is an agent of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. He tries to get answers out of Lecter, but this tactic only causes Lecter to shut down.
Paul Krendler
Paul Krendler works for the United States Department of Justice. He tries to get Starling fired because he dislikes that she disobeyed his orders.
Officer Pembry
Officer Pembry is one of the two police officers responsible for directly overseeing Lecter in the Memphis courthouse. Lecter murders him when escapes.
