The half-caste woman is an opium user in Lahore who takes Kim in after his father’s death. She provides Kim with shelter and food and is responsible for sewing his legal documents into the amulet-case he carries around his neck as a youth.

Huneefa is a blind woman and dark-magic user who semi-permanently turns Kim’s skin black, summoning devils to do so. Mahbub, citing Huneefa’s use of dark magic, claims she has been the downfall of countless kings.

The Frenchman is a foreign spy conducting espionage in the northern mountains of India. Alongside the Russian, he is targeted by Hurree Babu and Kim, ultimately losing possession of essential intel concerning the Great Game.
