Bronx Masquerade: Chapter 28 Summary & Analysis

Summary
Analysis
The depth of Leslie’s poem surprises Tyrone. He appreciates the poem but wishes more of the guys in his class would participate in the Open Mikes.
The gender disparity in Tyrone’s class perhaps suggests that the girls are more willing to be emotionally vulnerable in front of others than the guys, rather than that the guys simply don’t have anything to say.
