Doc Character Analysis

Doc is the resident doctor for the Royal Air Force squadron in “Katina,” and he treats Katina when she first arrives at their camp with a bloody head wound. As the squadron moves between airfields, he is tasked with keeping her safe, and he grows increasingly fond of her along the way. When Katina is killed by gunfire at the story’s end, Fin carries her body to Doc, and Doc confirms her death.
